On Xbox Wire, the next batch of games coming to Xbox Game Pass were revealed. Among them, we were delighted to see Final Fantasy XIII along with highly anticipated indie game releases like The Artful Escape. All of the games announced for Game Pass in September will be available on or before September 9.
Xbox Game Pass Lineup for September Includes Final Fantasy XIII
Xbox Game Pass subscribers can look forward to the addition of several titles in September including Final Fantasy XIII and The Artful Escape. Other exciting news shared in the Xbox Wire post include a reminder that Quake, Quake II, and Quake III are all available on Game Pass right now.

As previously mentioned, Quake, Quake II, and Quake III are also available right now. In addition to games coming to Xbox Game Pass in September, the Xbox Wire post also goes over a few other things gamers may be interested in.
First, if you’ve been loving Spiritfarer the Beverly Update is free and available right now as is the Homecoming Update for State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition.
For Microsoft Flight Simulator players, a World Update VI is coming September 7 that includes, “100 handcrafted locations, new discovery flights, and more landing challenges.”
Fallout 76 is also getting a Fallout Worlds update on September 8, and last but certainly not least, you can pre-install Halo Infinite right now. While the game’s release is still a ways away, having it pre-installed is always nice.
Other perks Xbox Game Pass subscribers can enjoy in September includes a free Sarge Weapon Charm for Apex Legends and a September Member Monthly Bonus for Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis.

The list of games leaving Game Pass soon is fairly substantial with the loss of games like Red Dead Online and Forza Motorsport 7. However, Xbox Game Pass subscribers have a membership discount they can use to purchase these games and save up to 20% off.
