Xbox Celebrates Pride Month with Tell Me Why Available for Free and More

Xbox is celebrating Pride Month for June 2021 with some exciting offers. Looking over the post from Xbox Wire, there’s a lot on offer with a little something for just about everyone.

As mentioned above, Tell Me Why will be available to play for free all month on Xbox consoles and PC via the Microsoft Store and Steam.

Tell Me Why, the award-winning narrative adventure from DontNod Entertainment and Xbox Publishing, will be available for free on Xbox consoles, the Microsoft Store and Steam for the entire month of June 2021.

Whether you’re returning to Delos Crossing or experiencing the Ronan twins’ reunion for the first time, we can’t wait for you to join us this Pride Month,” notes the Xbox Wire post

Tell Me Why originally released back in August of 2020, so it’s still pretty new. It’s exciting to hear that it’ll be available for free. Not only will Tell Me Why be available to play for free in June, Forza players can look forward to freebies in Forza Horizon 4 and Forza Motorsport 7.

“Forza is getting festive! The 2021 Forza Rainbow livery, adorning the 2017 Ford Focus RS, is available for free to all players in both Forza Horizon 4 and Forza Motorsport 7.

Players will automatically receive the livery through the in-game message center the next time they log in after June 1. (Ford disclaimer: 2017 Focus RS no longer in real world production.)”

But wait, there’s more! In Halo: The Master Chief Collection, gamers will be able to enjoy a special customization in the form of the “Unity” nameplate. To earn this nameplay, all you need to do is log in to Halo: The Master Chief Collection in June.

For even more customization, gamers can also deck out their profile with the new “True Colors” theme and gamerpics on console and PC.

If you like to wear your Pride on your sleeve (literally) you can also purchase some stellar looking items from the Pride collection on the Xbox Gear Shop. Items include limited-edition bags, t-shirts, stickers, and more.

If you’re a “key influencer” or select member of the media, Team Xbox is sending out a custom Pride 2021 Xbox Wireless Controller which looks awesome.

We kind of wish the controller was something that everyone could purchase, but we understand wanting it to be more of a special thing.

Fortunately, there’s also a Surface Skin inspired by the design of the Pride 2021 Xbox Wireless Controller available according to Xbox Wire.
