As indicated earlier in the week, Nintendo hosted a special Direct this morning for The Wonderful 101, Platinum Games’ upcoming multiplayer opus for the Wii U. In the special, Platinum creative director Hideki Kamiya explains a lot of the tactics in the game, including being able to combine characters for Unite Morphs to build large objects for combat and puzzle solving. He also goes into detail about the game’s controls, and how easily they work.
Players in Japan and Europe received a special treat, as a playable demo for the game is now available in their respective eShops. Unfortunately, a North American demo hasn’t been announced yet, but we should get it soon.
