WB Games Brings Back the Old-School With Midway Arcade Origins This November

One of the great game compilations we loved back on the Xbox and PlayStation 2 was Midway Arcade Treasures.  Across three discs, we got a handful of classic arcade games that we could play any way we chose.  We miss those releases…and apparently, so does WB Games.

The company announced today that it will be releasing Midway Arcade Origins on both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this November.  Though a full list of games hasn’t been revealed as of yet, we do know of a few titles that will make the cut, including Spy Hunter, Defender, Joust, Gauntlet, Rampage and Marble Madness.  The game will also support Trophy/Achievement unlocks, along with 4 player local multiplayer with select games and online leaderboards.

We’ll be covering this in a preview soon, talking more about the games that are included.  Here’s crossing our fingers that San Francisco Rush and Smash TV make the cut.  “I’d buy that for a dollar!”
