Fortnite season 8 is coming to a close soon and like previous seasons, Epic Games is making sure that the beginning of the end starts off in the most explosive way yet.
The countdown timers went live earlier this week to show off when the next big event would be going down and players immediately began in on their theories. Since we’ve already had crazy things like weird space cubes named Kevin, Ice Kings and fire – even portals interlinking to other dimensions – Fortnite definitely doesn’t play around.

What did you think about the latest event? Everything you hoped it would be, or massively overhyped? Sound off with your thoughts over on Twitter by hitting us up @PrimaGames to tell your Fortnite tale.
As for the game itself, Fortnite is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices. Still no word on Smart Fridges like Skyrim, but we can only hope.
