WarioWare is officially making its way onto Nintendo Switch! That’s right, WarioWare fans can look forward to the release of a brand new WarioWare game – WarioWare: Get It Together! – on Nintendo Switch this September.
Along with the microgame madness you’d expect from a WarioWare title, there are also new features like 2-player co-op for players to enjoy as well.
WarioWare: Get It Together! Announced for Nintendo Switch
During the latest Nintendo Direct, a new WarioWare game called WarioWare: Get It Together! was announced alongside the news that it’s coming to Nintendo Switch later this year.
More specifically, September 10 is when you’ll be able to partake in some WarioWare wackiness. Pre-orders are available right now if you already know you’re going to want to pick up a copy of WarioWare: Get It Together! and don’t want to have to remind yourself about it later.
One of the many nice things about the new WarioWare title is that it’s priced a little cheaper than the standard Switch game that sells for $59.99 (USD), with WarioWare: Get It Together! available for just $49.99 (USD), a full $10 cheaper.
You get a lot of content with WarioWare: Get It Together! too. According to the game’s Switch page, WarioWare: Get It Together! boasts over 200 microgames. A number of these microgames were shown in the announcement trailer like squeezing toothpaste, peeling off a face mask, knocking apples out of a tree, and removing armpit hair from a statue.
The Nintendo Direct was a blur, but we definitely remember the WarioWare microgames because they’re memorably odd, and we want to play each and every one that was shown.
Now, if you’re sitting there thinking that some of these microgames would be better to play with friends, you’re in luck as WarioWare: Get It Together! supports 2-player cooperative play for the first time in WarioWare series history.
That’s not the only first, as WarioWare: Get It Together! also lets you control Wario and his pals, using their abilities to tackle these microgames.
“Tip a turtle with the help of Wario’s dash or choose Ashley and hurl a spell at it. In WarioWare: Get It Together!, mix and match characters and microgames for maximum fun,” reads the Switch page description.
Again, WarioWare: Get It Together! will release for Nintendo Switch on September 10. Pre-orders are available now, with WarioWare: Get It Together! priced at $49.99 (USD).
