Day two of E3 2019 is kicking off with the first ever conference from Upload VR and the sheer pace of the conference is pretty astounding. We’ve already seen bits from Team Fortress 2, Doctor Who, and some cute looking pets too. Well, the developers behind the hugely successful Creed: Rise To Glory are showing off their upcoming title The Walking Dead Onslaught.
The game has you playing as characters from the show itself, each of which will have their own specialities and skills. As you go through the world murdering every zombie you see you’ll gain experience and level up. The most intriguing thing about the game is the mix of melee and ranged combat.
Given the history of the studio, both of these look to be quite interesting, but there are also traps to mess around with. The trailer showed off some of this close-quarters combat and it looks as though it could be a really interesting horror experience.
Add in the fact that you can decapitate, impale, and just generally mess up the zombies that are coming after you and you have a very visceral looking game. The game will be coming to Oculus and Vive headsets in Fall 2019.
