In partnership with developer Haemimont Games, the UK-based publisher Wired Productions has announced their plans to release the isometric action-RPG Victor Vran: Overkill Edition on Nintendo Switch in Summer 2018. Victor Vran originally released in 2015 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, with the Overkill Edition arriving in 2017.
The definitive Victor Vran: Overkill Edition features the base game along with two DLC packs. The first is the Fractured Worlds story chapter, which offers a perilous dungeon-crawling experience in a dimension formed of broken realms. The second DLC is the rockin’ Motörhead: Through the Ages, which is described as, “a wild tour through the mythos, music and attitude of the loudest band in the world.”
In Victor Vran, you fight waves of demons and even engage in plenty of boss fights, all while wielding an arsenal of interesting weapons and magic powers. Don’t worry though; you need not be alone. Players can destroy demon scum with a friend on the couch, or even jump into a game and battle alongside a team of three other players, Diablo-style. This extra help is welcomed in the Overkill Edition, especially with the additional chapters.
“Victor Vran has taken us on an incredible journey,” said Gabriel Dobrev, CEO at Haemimont Games. “from working with Motörhead to seeing so many players love the game as we have has been a real privilege – we’re excited for Victor’s next strides onto the Switch platform.”
Victor Vran: Overkill Edition will be available in both physical and digital formats for $39.99 when it launches on Nintendo Switch this summer. Check out the Switch announcement trailer above for a glimpse at what’s in store.
