The PC Gaming E3 2019 conference is underway and we have been gifted with some exciting new footage of the upcoming Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2. If you’re unfamiliar with the original title then it is well worth looking up. It is set in a world where vampires are not only very real but also very much (un)living among us. The original title is something of a cult classic and was released 15 years ago, which makes it older than many gamers these days.

Well, the follow-up is set in Seattle, which was founded by vampires. You get to choose a bloodline before making your way through the world and trying to navigate the complex web of politics and lies that lies in front of you. One of the things that made the first game so interesting was the plethora of choices available. Given how much further the industry has come since it will be good to see just how much this kind of game has evolved.

We’ve finally been shown some actual gameplay footage from Bloodlines 2 and it looks fascinating. The trailer opens with the character being told that they're dead, which is one hell of a way to wake up. It then shows off some incredibly pretty footage including some combat, some fire, and some dimly lit gothic streets. We even got to see a release window which is Q1 2020.

If you want to be up to date with all of the news coming out of E3 then the best place for you is right here. Well, Prima Games, not this particular article. Make sure to check us out on Facebook and Twitter too, that way you’ll never miss a piece of news again. We also share some pretty interesting polls and heaps of guides as well, so there’s really no reason not to.
