The Official Pokemon Twitter account tweeted earlier today that the next Pokemon Presents presentation is heading our way! Excited Pokemon fans do not have to wait long for new information on the franchise as the date is set to August 8, 2023. The presentation is set to run for 35 minutes which allows for plenty of time to provide new information on multiple topics and as such, speculation is rife.
What to Expect from the Upcoming Pokemon Presents
The trailer for the upcoming Pokemon Presents presentation left Pokemon fans with more questions than answers. Prior announcements included topics that the presentation would cover whilst the upcoming presentation does not. Instead, it is the first one to include a trailer. Everything turns black quickly begins to flicker in a fluorescent purple hue. There is a significance placed on the M in Pokemon as it lights up before the rest. But, what could it mean?
Fans were quick to throw out a variety of guesses from topics such as Master Balls to Missingno. What it signifies however, will remain a mystery until the presentation goes live. Outside of this, it seems likely that the Pokemon Presents will feature the upcoming DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. Part 1, The Teal Mask is set to release in Fall, 2023. With this fast approaching, an actual release date seems probable.
Other possible inclusions could be the recently announced Detective Pikachu 2, as well as the much-requested Gameboy Advance games on the Nintendo Switch. With Pokemon Sleep recently releasing, it could also be touched on.
As mentioned previously, fans will be able to tune in on August 8, 2023, to watch Pokemon Presents live. Below you will find more information regarding presentation time depending on your preferred time zone.
