Perhaps you aren’t super stoked by the earlier news from Xbox Wire today, informing us Outriders will debut on Game Pass. If billions of bullets aren’t your thing, you may be more interested in this one.

Undertale, a game that has had a ridiculous impact on the gaming community, is coming to Xbox. Tomorrow. You’ll be able to check Undertale out via Game Pass on March 16, 2021.

Undertale Debuts on Xbox via Game Pass Tomorrow

Undertale originally hit PC via a Kickstarter campaign several years ago, and quickly became a cultural juggernaut in a way most indie games don’t. Undertale eventually wound up on the Vita and PS4, then the Switch, something that was looking more and more unlikely as time passed.

Now with the Xbox version, publisher 8-4 states that, to some degree, the Xbox version will have distinct, Xbox-geared features and perhaps even some new content. It’s impossible to know what that means for now, but Xbox fans will be able to find out in less than 24 hours.

In the meantime, it’s important to note that due to these tweaks, Undertale will not be a Xbox Play Anywhere title. While Undertale has been available via the Windows/Microsoft Store for PC, the changes mean your save file won’t be compatible. So you might have to start over. But... is that really a bad thing?
