In this article we will cover how to complete Chapter 4: A Normal Life in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Part of this chapter includes a segment in which Nathan Drake plays Crash Banidcoot, so it’s important that we touch on that gameplay as well. But first let’s start off at the beginning of the chapter as Nathan is going through the papers from the Malaysia Job. Interact with the various objects in the attic, then head to the far side of the room to collect the Toy Gun and nearby ammunition.
As you move through the attic, use the Toy Gun to hit the round targets hanging from the ceiling. This is essentially a tutorial on how the cover system works in Uncharted 4. Once you hear from Elena you can head downstairs to the second floor and look around if you’d like to get some back story found by searching through the rooms.
When you’re ready, head down to the first floor, pick up the food on the counter and take your place next to Elena on the couch. At this point it’s time to play Crash Bandicoot. You have three lives to see just how far you can get in the PlayStation classic. You’re running toward the screen and you need to jump over the gaps while collecting loot along the way. It’s best to memorize the timing of the jumps if you want to make it as far as possible.
During the cut scene that follows you can select a few dialogue options. Your selections don’t have an impact on how the game plays out beyond this chapter, so feel free to make whatever choices you deem proper. The next cut scene completes the chapter.
You can move on to the next chapter, Hector Alcazar, or head back to our Uncharted 4 walkthrough and guide.
