Twitch Loses Another Major Streamer As ‘Shroud’ Moves to Mixer

Ninja isn't the only big-name streamer making the jump from Twitch to Mixer!

Ninja isn’t the only big-name streamer making the jump from Twitch to Mixer! Following Tyler “Ninja” Blevins’ notable departure from the streaming giant back in August, another power-house influencer is following suit. Michael ‘Shroud’ Grzesiek took to Twitter with a small video announcing his big change alongside the url to his new channel:

Though Ninja went with the paparazzi route, Shroud took the more creative path by highlighting the juxtaposition behind dreaming big and making those moves to get where he wants to be. With millions of followers supporting his streaming journey, it will be interesting to see two things in particular:

  1. Will Mixer see a big boost with this move following the seemingly non-existent incline following Ninja’s arrival
  2. Which other big names out there will make a similar move

A big reason why Mixer is suddenly in the news a lot more is in part because of power moves like this, but also because of the experience they offer. Similar features to that of Twitch, yet customer support that people can actually get a hold of while offering a community less focused on numbers and more focused on quality.

Overall Mixer seems to be a much more positive experience, though still fairly new when comparing it to Twitch. Still, this means big competition which also means everyone wins when two major companies are pushed to do and be better.
