On social media, developer Toby Fox (Undertale, Deltarune) shared the exciting news about a special event livestream on September 15. During the livestream, Toby Fox will reportedly stream Deltarune Chapter 1 with live commentary alongside ‘three dads’ from Fangamer (per Toby’s tweet).
It’s unclear at the moment whether there will be more to this livestream than just Chapter 1 of Deltarune, but either way it’s definitely something fans should check out. You know, just in case.

Could we be looking at a Deltarune-related tease of some sort? It seems possible, though it’s also hard to say for certain at this point in time as we don’t have a lot of information about the stream outside of what Toby Fox shared on social media.
On Twitter, Toby Fox tweeted about a special event livestream happening on September 15 that seems, on the surface, to just be Toby Fox and three rad dads from Fangamer playing Chapter 1 of Deltarune.
“On 9/15, me and 3 dads from Fangamer will be streaming DELTARUNE Chapter 1 with live commentary. (I’ll join with text-to-speech.) We’ve never done something like this before so it might be a little rough, but I think it will be a lot of fun too. Will post a link when it’s close!” Toby Fox tweeted.
The wording chosen for the livestream tease with them playing Chapter 1 of Deltarune ‘for some reason’ after having never done something like this before, and the words “IGNORE THIS” being spotted in the teaser, have caught the attention of curious fans.
In particular, the “IGNORE THIS” seems to have fans speculating the most over what else Fox may have planned for the livestream.
If there is something else planned for the livestream, it seems likely that it may be something related to Deltarune given that Fox and the dads from Fangamer will be playing Chapter 1.
The rest of Deltarune will be released by Fox sometime in the future, so perhaps we’ll hear about Chapter 2? Or perhaps this whole thing is exactly what it looks like, a perfectly ordinary livestream.
Especially considering the fact that Fox previously teamed up with Fangamer last year to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Undertale with a free concert. This could be along the same lines, but instead of a concert, developer commentary during a live playthrough of Chapter 1 of Deltarune.
If the suspense is killing you, the good news is you won’t have to wait too much longer to see what happens during this livestream as it’s set to air on Wednesday, September 15 at 7:00 p.m. (EST) on YouTube.
