It’s time to start fighting again. And by fighting we mean mowing down dozens of guards with ongoing attacks and super combo moves.
Tecmo Koei has announced that it will release a pair of upcoming sequels this coming February, focused on bringing more authentic brawling action as their original games have done. Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2 will make its debut on February 5th as an Xbox 360 retail game and a PlayStation Network downloadable title, while Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires will be released exclusively for PSN on February 26th. Pricing hasn’t been given yet, but both are expected to be around the $59.99 range.
Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2 will feature over 20 playable characters, as well as a new Dream Mode that introduces new storylines to the game and online co-op and versus play. Meanwhile, Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires will feature over 60 (!) playable characters, along with a new Edit Mode, which lets you tweak weapons and character performance.
We’ll have previews on these games very soon!
