In an exciting announcement on social media, it was revealed that Sylveon is finally being added to Pokémon GO. Sylveon will join other Eevee evolutions like Umbreon, Espeon, Glaceon, and Leafeon.

Sylveon’s addition to Pokémon GO will occur during Part 2 of the game’s Luminous Legends Y event.

Sylveon is Being Added to Pokémon GO

The question of whether Sylveon is available in Pokémon GO has been asked for quite a while. Originally, Eevee evolutions Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon were available in the game.

As time has passed and updates to the game have been made, additional evolutions of Eevee have been added like Leafeon and Glaceon back in 2019. One evolution that hasn’t been available is Sylveon, but that’s finally changing after an announcement today that yes, Sylveon is being added to Pokémon GO.

On Twitter, the official Pokémon GO account teased the news, saying:

“Sylveon, the Intertwining Pokémon, is making its Pokémon GO debut during the upcoming Luminous Legends Y event! You’ll be able to evolve your own Eevee into Sylveon by earning hearts when it’s your buddy."

As for when Sylveon will be available in Pokémon GO, an update on the Pokémon GO website goes into detail about the Luminous Legends Y event. Specifically, that Sylveon will be added during Part 2 of the event which is set to take place from Tuesday, May 25 at 10:00 a.m. local time until May 31 at 8:00 p.m. local time.

A list of features that Pokémon GO players can expect from Part 2 of the Luminous Legends Y event was also provided, and reads as follows:
