PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale may not be the colossal hit that Sony first envisioned, but it does have a feverish fan base, one that was appreciative yesterday when Kat from Gravity Rush and Emmett from Starhawk were added to the game’s roster, along with a new background.

Get ready for more good news – the additions aren’t ending anytime soon.  Even though SuperBot Entertainment, the game’s developer, and Sony aren’t buddy-buddy anymore in a partnership, the developer stated that even more characters are being worked on.  “We’ve got All-Stars you haven’t seen yet.  Further details coming in March,” said a post on the company’s official Facebook site.

Its development and support on All Stars is “nearly wrapped” with these final characters, but not to worry, as Sony Santa Monica will take over with its own additions from there.

Let the guessing games begin…who’s next?  Crash Bandicoot?  Robbit from Jumping Flash?  Someone from The Last of Us?  We’ll know soon enough…

PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale is available now for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita.
