Street Fighter Coming To PlayStation 4?

A new ad released by Sony could lead to a surprise announcement next week.

At first, we weren’t sure how a Street Fighter/taxicab crossover would work either. However, that didn’t stop Sony from releasing a quirky new ad that could very well lead to the reveal of a new Street Fighter game for the PlayStation 4.

The ad, viewable below, shows a number of customers calling for a Hadouken cab, and features appearances by Ryu, one of the lead characters from the game.  It also features a tie-in to an official Hadouken cabs website, where you can choose to talk to an operator for a humorous conversation.

There’s no official word on this PS4 version of Street Fighter yet, but Sony did promise exclusive announcements during the Spike TV launch special that’s airing next Thursday night. We’ll let you know once it’s officially confirmed.

In the meantime, a video game cab service does sound pretty sweet…though we probably wouldn’t go near a Mortal Kombat one. It’d probably cost you an arm and a leg.
