Strange indeed ...

Fortnite is no stranger to weird crossovers so it shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone that Stranger Things portals have begun showing up in the battle royale title from Epic Games.

Players began noticing these portals from the popular Netflix show showing up this morning, all upside down, leading up to a major event where the two collide. Haven’t spotted one for yourself? Check out some of the awesome findings over on Twitter:

Most of these portals can be found ion the Mega Mall allowing for a very interesting mode of travel in the Fortnite map. All evidence points towards a fully-fledged Stranger Things event, though we won’t know for sure until the next weekly update goes live on Thursday. Naturally Epic Games has been keeping everything a surprise, which honestly is a major charming selling point for their particular take on Battle Royale.

Check out the Stranger Things portals yourself in Fortnite because the game is available, for free, on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.
