If you weren’t already in the holiday spirit, you should be now. Steam kicked off its holiday sale today, offering crazy deals on a wide range of PC games. If you’ve had your eye on something — either for that special someone or yourself — now’s the time to swoop in and pick it up.
Discounted games are broken down into Daily Deals, Flash Sales and the Community’s Choice. Of course, daily deals will last 24 hours, while flash sales will cycle every eight hours. Community choices are also cycled every eight hours, but offer some of the biggest discounts. If that wasn’t enough, voting on the next deal can earn you Steam trading cards.
Have look at some of today’s Daily Deals, but keep in mind there are many more discounted games to explore. Head over to Steam and have a look for yourself.

- Dishonored – Was $29.99 – Currently $7.49 – 75% Off
- Batman: Arkham Origins – Was $49.99 – Currently $24.99 – 50% Off
- Dead Island – Was $19.99 – Currently $4.99 – 75% Off
Missing from this list is the recently released The Walking Dead: Season Two – Episode One: All That Remains. Although we’re sure gamers would love to see this titled discounted, it’s very uncommon for newly released titles to be a part of the Steam sales. Keep in mind though, if the game you want isn’t on sale today, it very well could be soon, so you might want to hold off until the price drops.
