Undead Labs didn’t know how big a hit it would have on its hands with the Xbox Live strategy/action game State of Decay. The title already cleared 500,000 digital sales since its release, becoming one of the most successful digital game launches to date.
To celebrate and introduce the game to a new audience, Undead Labs confirmed that State of Decay is currently in development for PC. Though a publisher hasn’t been named, Undead did explain that a few things would be added to the game.
Said the developer, “For a start, I can tell you we’re working on a sandbox mode designed to be a pure survival simulation.”
Not to worry, Xbox fans. Undead Labs stated that anything coming to the Steam version of the game will also be made available for your version as well. You won’t miss out on any of the zombie-killing fun.
State of Decay will release sometime this year for PC/Steam. In the meantime, check it out on Xbox Live Marketplace.
