BioWare has announced the latest update to its online MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic, and it’s a doozy.
Operation Nightmare will come with the 2.2 version of the game. It’ll be broken into two parts, with the first including the Nightmare Mode operation “Terror From Beyond” and the second titled “Legions of Scum and Villainy”. Each one will include a number of new bosses to take on, perhaps the most challenging you’ll find in the game to date. Some come straight out of the Gree Hypergate, while others are dispatched straight from the Hutt Cartel.
Taking on and defeating these bosses will result in great rewards, including the Kell Dragon gear, as well as a new Helix Hyperpod. You can also unlock a cool Titan 6 Containment Mode vehicle, and if you own the previously released Rise of the Hutt Cartel content, up your level cap to 55.
The content will be released sometime this month. In addition, BioWare will host double XP and legacy XP weekend events between June and July. You can take part from June 21-24, June 28-July 1 and July 4-July 8.
