Yesterday, we reported on the rumor that Square Enix was working on a new Hitman Trilogy HD compilation for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, including such games as Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts and Hitman: Blood Money. The only thing missing was a confirmation from the company…until now, that is.
Square Enix has officially announced the collection, which will release on January 29th, 2013 for North America, and February 1st for other regions. The package will sell for $39.99, and will include all three games, reconditioned for some good assassination times in HD.
On top of that, it looks like Amazon is offering a Premium Edition upgrade of the game, one that includes an extra art book, one that recaps 22 memorable moments from the game. Here’s to hoping that the shark scene is included in there somewhere – because it’s glorious.
We’ll have a preview of Hitman HD Trilogy early next month.
