A Special Legend of Zelda Game & Watch Coming This November

Highly collectible, cute as heck, probably going to sell out super quick.

If you missed out on the chance to buy yourself the Super Mario Bros. edition Game & Watch you’re in luck as a brand new Game & Watch was announced during today’s Nintendo Direct. Instead of Super Mario Bros., this Game & Watch will let you play three classic Zelda games on it!

A Special Legend of Zelda Game & Watch Coming This November

Holiday gift buying can be a pain, but if you know someone who’s a huge Legend of Zelda fan they may be interested in the special Legend of Zelda edition Game & Watch.

On the product page, Nintendo calls it the Game & Watch: Legend of Zelda System and it’s priced at $49.99 (USD). The system is available to pre-order right now (you can view the pre-order page over on Best Buy by clicking here) with the release date set for November 12.

Pre-orders were up on Amazon as well, but the page is currently showing “temporarily out of stock” so if you’re intent on pre-ordering from Amazon, we recommend bookmarking the page and checking back as often as you can.

You may also want to keep an eye on other retailers to catch when their pre-orders for the Game & Watch: Legend of Zelda System go live.

Included with the Game & Watch: Legend of Zelda System are three classic Legend of Zelda games:

  • The Legend of Zelda (1987)
  • Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (1988)
  • The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening (1993 Game Boy version)

Also included with the Game & Watch: Legend of Zelda is a version of the Game & Watch classic, Vermin, featuring Link.

Other features of the Game & Watch: Legend of Zelda System include a digital clock and timer that you can interact with and the ability to display the Game & Watch using the packaging it comes in as shown in the image below.

The Game & Watch: Legend of Zelda System is scheduled to release on November 12 at a purchase price of $49.99 (USD).

Again, pre-orders are available now at retailers like Best Buy. If you don’t see pre-orders pop up at your preferred retailer like Amazon, be sure to check back as we imagine retailers will push pre-orders live for the Game & Watch: Legend of Zelda System in the near future.

After catching up with the Game & Watch: Legend of Zelda System, what are your thoughts? Are you planning to pre-order one? Let us know on our social media channels including Facebook and Twitter!
