Sparklite Collector’s Edition Revealed For This Charming Retro-Inspired Game

by Liana Ruppert

Sometimes, you just need a good old-fashioned retro adventure to get lost in and that’s exactly where Sparklite comes into play. This charming new retro-inspired action game takes what fans love from franchises like The Legend of Zelda and makes them magical once more with a brand new adventure.

Developer Red Blue Games takes the helm of the latest game for old-school fans to sink their teeth into under the umbrella of Merge Games. Ahead of its October digital release, the studio also revealed a brand new, and super exclusive, Signature Edition as well with a physical copy of the game, the title’s OST, a numbered certificate, and an 8-bit inspired Nano Block figure.

The charming journey will offer fans five stunning procedurally generated biomes for players to explore in addition to powerful enemies and engaging puzzles. Build friendships and alliances while going toe-to-toe against the Baron Mining Corp and other foes. The best part is this adventure can be taking solo or with friends with an assistive co-op mode.

Fans of the GameCube era, in particular, have a special treat in store because the game’s entire soundtrack was heavily inspired by that era, according to a recent press release about what Sparklite has to offer.

Sparklite arrives on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC this October. Pre-orders for the incredible Signature Edition go live on June 28th at 7 AM PT right here.
