Sony Giving Away 2016’s Ratchet & Clank For Free

If you own a PS4 or PS5 and are a fan of free games, Sony has an exciting offer for you. Starting March 1, you’ll be able to redeem a free copy of 2016’s Ratchet & Clank. Once you redeem the game, it’s yours to keep forever.

A PS Plus subscription is not required to claim your free copy of Ratchet & Clank. All you need to do is visit the PlayStation Store and look for the free game offer. Note that this is a free copy of 2016’s Ratchet & Clank which was released on PS4, though it’ll be available to PS5 owners as well.

This is not a copy of the new Ratchet & Clank game that’s scheduled to release on June 11. If 2016’s Ratchet & Clank isn’t something you’re interested in, Sony added the following note, confirming there’s more to look forward to in the coming weeks.

“What we outlined today is just the beginning of what’s in store for Play At Home. In the coming weeks, we’ll share more details on free games and entertainment offers dropping for our PlayStation community. I think we’ve got a great mix of games and entertainment offers lined up, and I hope this news made your day just a little bit brighter.”

We’re excited about the free copy of Ratchet & Clank that’ll be available starting March 1 and will remain available until April 1. The offer comes at the perfect time ahead of the release of the newest Rachet & Clank in June, and we’re looking forward to seeing what other offers Sony has in store for gamers on PS4 and PS5.

Until then, what do you think of the free copy of 2016’s Ratchet & Clank that Sony is giving away to all PS4 and PS5 owners?
