Sony has a number of killer exclusives lined up for the PlayStation 3 this year and among them is the upcoming Sly Cooper sequel, Thieves In Time. Even though it’s not being made by the native development team at Sucker Punch, it’s still in capable hands over at Sanzaru Games, a team loyal to the brand and making sure that all the characters still match up with their respective, if deviant, nature. Now it looks like the fun is carrying over onto more than one platform.
Last night on the latest episode of Game Trailers TV, Sanzaru confirmed that the game won’t just be creating a criminal world on the PlayStation 3 but also the PS Vita. The handheld version will take advantage of the system’s features, including gyrosensitivity and touch sensors, and will also feature all the action of the original game, including the boss battles and bonus events. It will also feature cross-platform play, so you can save your game on the PlayStation 3 and continue it on the Vita, and vice versa.
Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time will slip its way into both systems this fall. Be sure to check back for a full preview!
