Which Marvel property could it be?

Skydance New Media Announces New Marvel Entertainment Game, Amy Henning Writing & Directing

This new project is in partnership with Marvel Entertainment to develop a “narrative-driven, blockbuster action-adventure game, featuring a completely original story and take on the Marvel Universe.”

This information comes directly from the Skydance New Media website, where it has published a lengthy blog post about the new partnership and what fans can expect from this collaboration.

We don’t have details on what the Marvel project that Henning is working on entails, or even when it is expected to be officially announced. However, it’s been nearly ten years since Amy Henning has launched a game and we’re excited to see what this could entail.

Henning joined Skydance back in 2019 and has been quiet since, but that hasn’t stopped her from working on other projects in the industry. We recently learned that Henning is credited as a writer for the upcoming game Forspoken alongside Gary Whitta, and Allison Rymer.

In the blog post, Amy Henning had this to say about working with a Marvel property

“The Marvel Universe epitomizes all the action, mystery, and thrills of the pulp adventure genre that I adore and lends itself perfectly to an interactive experience. It’s an honor to be able to tell an original story with all the humanity, complexity, and humor that makes Marvel characters so enduring and to enable our players to embody these heroes that they love.”

Maybe we will see this game pop up at The Game Awards in December, or maybe it’s too early to see anything at all. What do you think? Be sure to let us know on the official Prima Games Twitter and Facebook pages, or leave a comment down below!
