It’s been a long time coming, but earlier this year, PS Vita owners finally got the chance to check out Severed, Drinkbox Studios’ inspired first-person hack-and-slash adventure, which had spent several years in development. Now, it looks like they won’t be the only ones that get to enjoy the game.

The development team has announced that it will bring Severed to more platforms this summer, including iOS, 3DS and Nintendo’s Wii U. The format will remain generally the same, but the Wii U version will obviously get a high-definition upgrade, as well as a cool set-up with its dual-screen support.

In addition, the Nintendo versions of the game will also support cross-buy, meaning that if you purchase one version of Severed, you’ll automatically get the other one for free. Huzzah!

Check out the trailer below, and prepare for some mean hack and slash action!
