Sega has announced that it is releasing its trio of AM2-arcade based fighting games for Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, weeks after first revealing the games on their Japan website.  The arcade/Saturn brawler Virtua Fighter 2 is leading the pack, with perfect visuals and online multiplayer.  Also packing a punch will be Sonic the Fighters, which hasn’t seen much exposure on the home market over the years, and the unique brawler Fighting Vipers.  Both of those will have online play as well.

The games will appear on PlayStation Network first on November 27th, and a day later on Xbox Live.  They’re priced at ($4.99) or 400 Microsoft points apiece.

We’re always a sucker for the classics, so count us in.  And, um, we can has Sega Rally Arcade, Sega?
