Runescape Has Dropped A Choose Your Own Musical Adventure, and the Internet Isn’t Ready

Enjoy a hilarious celebration of the beginning moments in RuneScape.

If you didn’t expect to wake up and watch a choose-your-own adventure musical based on RuneScape today, then you are not alone. Runesical, a seven-part choose your adventure musical produced by Gigglemug was the entertainment that the internet didn’t know that they needed today.

Runesical is able to be viewed on Gigglemug’s YouTube channel, and it is undoubtedly worth taking some time out of your day to view. If you play RuneScape or have played it before, the many humorous references throughout the show will not go unnoticed. Many fundamental aspects of RuneScape are incorporated into the play, such as references to certain areas, quests, enemies, random events, and some of the most famous RuneScape OST tracks. There is no doubt that this is not only a treat for RuneScape players but a labor of love by the members of Gigglemug themselves.

Throughout the experience, the end of a video will provide the viewer with options as to how they wish for the story to proceed. Choose carefully, as you’re now controlling Lance_054’s adventure in Gielinor. There are seven parts in total. However, you can go back and choose the alternate choices if you wish to do so.

With all of the upset that the RuneScape community has endured lately, Runesical has not come at a better time. It is a fantastic illustration of the many things players know and love about the game. It touches on aspects that make RuneScape one of a kind and is a reminder of the fun memories that have been had when first beginning the game. I have no desire to spoil it for you, but be prepared to smile, laugh, and remember those first post Tutorial Island moments fondly.
