The Last of Us’ Ellie Invades Resident Evil 2 With This Remake Mod

Ellie will be facing a different kind of zombie in Resident Evil 2.

From Mr. X in a bikini to replacing him altogether with an enemy from another game, the list of impressive mods for Capcom’s Resident Evil 2 remake continues to grow. Some, hilarious – others, badass, but this latest one is perfect for those that are getting impatient waiting for the highly anticipated arrival of The Last of Us Part II. That’s right, Ellie from The Last of Us is invading Resident Evil 2 thanks to this new mod.

This particular mod comes by way of ‘Darkness Valtier’ and works for the PC version of the game. The Last of Us Part I’s Ellie crashes the Resident Evil scene with a reskin of Claire’s Elza Walker costume. While it’s not up on popular modding sites quite yet, there is a direct link to the file, found here, thanks to WCCFTech.

As for the game itself, Resident Evil 2 is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. For more about the horror remake:

“The genre-defining masterpiece Resident Evil 2 returns, completely rebuilt from the ground up for a deeper narrative experience. Using Capcom’s proprietary RE Engine, Resident Evil 2 offers a fresh take on the classic survival horror saga with breathtakingly realistic visuals, heart-poundingly immersive audio, a new over-the-shoulder camera, and modernized controls on top of gameplay modes from the original game.”
