For months, fans have been anticipating the arrival of Rockstar Games’ classic Western adventure Red Dead Redemption on the Xbox One backward compatibility program – and they’re about to get their wish.
“Today we’re happy to announce that Red Dead Redemption will be released as part of Microsoft’s Xbox One Backward Compatibility program this coming Friday, July 8th,” said the company in a press statement.
All three versions of the game – the original Red Dead, the Undead Nightmare expansion, and the Game of the Year Edition – will be available for play on the system, and the game can also be purchased through the Xbox Live Marketplace later this week as well, for those that don’t have it quite yet.
It’s good to see Red Dead back in action – we missed it.
