Rage 2 Pokes Fun At Elon Musk During Secret Mission

Elon Musk has somehow become the meme king over the past year, so Rage 2 decided to do the Rage 2iest thing they could do: Make fun of him.
This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

Rage 2 is available now in all of its mayhem and with its explosive action, comes campy humor and hilarious hot takes. Because of that, it was only natural that the team should take a comedic pot shot at Elon Musk, the man who has seemingly become the Meme King in gaming last year with his takes on games like Fortnite, Fallout: New Vegas, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

As spotted by PC Gamer, there’s a “Secret Bunker” hidden within the wasteland, seen below:

In the bunker is a very insane looking Elton Tusk (you know, because subtleties) sitting alone in the midst of discarded data pads littering the area around him, though he doesn’t look like how you think he would look and we’re going to leave that open-ended so you can see the absolute weirdness for yourself with no spoilers.

What we can tell you is that the CEO of Tusk Industries has posters everywhere as well detailing his work, including space travel and eco-pods, and in the game he is dubbed the “great science mogul” that’s just a little left of center. I’m sure that doesn’t sound familiar to anyone. Not at all.

GG, Avalanche, GG.

Rage 2 launches on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on May 14th! You can check out our full review here, with a small blurb below:

“Overall, Rage 2 was fun! It was campy, it was ridiculous at times, and it was absolutely on brand. I wish the studio would have invested a little more heavily in the world building aspect because there was a lot of potential, though the teams did reveal a Road Map that shows a lot more content on the way that could help make this feel a little more lustrous.”
