QuakeCon to Take Place Online Starting August 19

Three days of virtual QuakeCon.

On social media, the dates for QuakeCon 2021 have officially been revealed along with a few details about what QuakeCon virtual attendees can expect. And yes, like other events this year QuakeCon will take place online with festivities all streamed to twitch.tv/bethesda

QuakeCon to Take Place Online Starting August 19

QuakeCon will take place online this year from August 19 to August 21. During that time, fans can look forward to a nice assortment of programming aired to twitch.tv/bethesda.

Some things you can expect include developer panels, with featured games including Elder Scrolls Online, Fallout 76, DEATHLOOP, DOOM Eternal, and of course, Quake. 

For those interested in catching the Quake World Championships, the Grand Finals will air on the final day of QuakeCon, August 21, at 4:30 p.m. (EST). For some non-gaming programming, there will also apparently be a performance by the band Trivium on August 20 at 8:00 p.m. (EST). 

Below, we’ve written out the full schedule for you as provided by the Twitter account for QuakeCon. Note that all times are in EST. 

QuakeCon Schedule: Thursday, August 19

 

  • 2:00 p.m. – Welcome to QuakeCon 2021

  • 2:05 p.m. – Celebrating 25 Years of Quake with id Software and MachineGames

  • 2:30 p.m. – Deep Dive Into DEATHLOOP with Arkane Lyon

  • 3:00 p.m. – Fallout 76: Making Appalachia Your Own With Fallout Worlds

  • 3:30 p.m. – Inside the Award-Winning The Elder Scrolls Online with ZeniMax Online Studios

  • 4:00 p.m. – Reliving the Opening of Skyrim with the Creators from BGS

  • 4:30 p.m. – DOOM Eternal Studio Update with Marty and Hugo

  • 11:00 p.m. – Fallout 76: End-Game Guide

  • 12:30 a.m. – Fallout 76: Playing with UFC Middleweight Rob Whittaker

  • 6:30 p.m. – The Elder Scrolls Online: Life Art Creation

 

As you can see, QuakeCon 2021 is stacked with things to check out and watch across three days of programming starting August 19.

Out of everything, we’re really looking forward to seeing more of DEATHLOOP and DOOM Eternal, are curious about the Trivium performance, and are excited to catch the Quake World Championship Grand Finals on Saturday.
