If you’re one of the many who have absolutely lost their marbles over TRIGGER’s latest body of work, PROMARE, then this might be excellent news for you anime lovers if you’re not stateside. With both an English dub and a Japanese voiced, subbed version available to us viewers in the West, it’s now time for the former to cross the pond! Yes, there’s gonna be the PROMARE English dub showing in Japan soon.

PROMARE English Dub Showing in Japan at Select Theaters

The English dub cast of PROMARE has some well-known voice actors in its ranks. We’re talking about the likes of Johnny Yong Bosch (BLEACH, Akira) as Lio Fotia, Billy Kametz (Rising of Shield Hero, Cells at Work) as Galo Thymos, and Alyson Leigh Rosenfeld (Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokemon) as Aina Ardebit. While that’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the cast, we can truly say that the dub itself has been spectacular. Truly, we’re usually Team Subbed, check out what the English dub sounds like for yourself in the trailer below.

As you can see, it’s going to be hard to go wrong with a stellar line-up like that, so if you find yourself in Japan and you’ve got some time to kill, why not go catch PROMARE in its latest iteration? As reported by Crunchyroll, the PROMARE English dub is showing at the following places over the next two months, kicking off with showings at Anjo Korona Cinema World and Earth Cinemas Himeji on December 20, AEON Cinema Ebina on December 31, Tsukaguchi Sun Sun Theater and Kawasaki CINECITTA on January 3, and lastly, ufotable CINEMA on January 31.
