So what does Telltale Games have in mind when it comes to topping its 2012’s Game of the Year candidate The Walking Dead? Would you believe…a poker game?
The company has officially announced Poker Night 2, the long-awaited sequel to the 2010 Poker Night at the Inventory. Like that game, you can expect a number of superstars to show up from the gaming world, including GLaDOS from Portal, Sam from the Sam & Max series, and Claptrap from Borderlands, as well as other iconic stars from other mediums, including The Venture Bros.’ bodyguard Brock Samson and the horror superhero Ash from the Evil Dead films.

Now, being that it is April 1st, this could very well be a cruel April Fools joke…but it just looks kind of legit, and Gearbox and Telltale have been talking about the project for a while. So, who knows? It’s currently slated for an April release on PC, Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.
Just sit back and enjoy. It’s not often you hear Brock yelling at Sam AND Ash (even if it’s not Bruce Campbell – bah).
