Niantic has announced that November 2022’s Community Day will spotlight everyone’s favorite gen two bear Teddiursa. On November 12, 2022, from 2 PM to 5 PM your local time, you’ll be able to encounter Teddiursa more frequently in the wild. If you’re lucky, you might even be able to snag a shiny Teddiursa.

What makes this event even more remarkable is that, for the first time, players can evolve their Ursaring into an Ursaluna, which was introduced in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. During the event, from November 12 to November 13, players will be able to evolve Ursaring into Ursaluna by using 100 Teddiursa candy on Ursaring while the full moon in-game is visible.
The full moon will last from November 12, 2022, at 2 pm to November 13, 2022, at 6 am your local time. So you don’t have a lot of time to get this done.
This Community Day will also feature some special research. Below are the details from the Pokemon Go website on how to participate.

“For US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access the Teddiursa Community Day–exclusive Special Research story, A Sweet Snack.”
The event will also feature the following bonuses for players.
- 3x Stardust for catching
- 2x chance for Trainers level 31 or above to receive an XL candy from catching
- Incense activated during the event will last for three hours
- 2x Candy for Catching
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours
- Taking snapshots during the event will reveal a surprise
- Trades made during Community Day require 50% less Stardust
- One additional Special Trade can be made
Ursaring will appear in Four-Star Raids during the event.
Once players have completed a Four-Star Raid against Ursaring, a Teddiursa will appear around the gym for up to 30 minutes after completion.
Pokemon Go celebrates the Community monthly with special days focused on different Pokemon. If you’re a Teddiursa fan, now is the time to jump in and get ready for the upcoming event.
