For those of you that can’t get into the frenetic action of Battlefield 4 – or need a game that you can play alongside your kids – PopCap Games may have just the alternative you need early next year.
The developer, alongside the publishers at Electronic Arts, have announced that Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, introduced earlier this year at E3, will finally arrive for Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC on February 18th.
The game features a number of familiar characters from the hit puzzle/strategy game, including various plants and zombies that you can play as in pure multiplayer fashion.
Utilizing the Frostbite 3 technology that makes Battlefield 4 shine so well, players can expect a frivolous amount of maps to choose from, as well as three available modes – the objective-based capture mode Gardens and Graveyards; the four player online co-op mode; and a 24-player Team Vanquish mode. Chances are that last one will probably be the most popular.
We’ll have more strategies for Garden Warfare closer to its release.
