Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies Coming to 3DS This Fall As Digital Download

The master attorney will soon be working his way back into the courtroom.

Capcom has announced that Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies will be coming to both Europe and the U.S. this fall for the Nintendo 3DS as a digital download through the eShop.

The game follows Phoenix as he investigates the destruction of a courtroom, teaming up with the folks at the Wright Anything Agency to figure out what’s going on.  Gaspen Payne, the son of long-time adversary Winston Payne, will be the main adversary for the game.

Featuring classic gameplay in the tradition of other Ace Attorney games, Dual Destinies will introduce a new 3D engine that brings the action to life like never before.  This will also allow for more thorough investigations for clues that can help make – or break – the case.

The game will also introduce new characters, including a young attorney named Apollo Justice (greatest lawyer name ever) and Associate Attorney Athena Cykes.  They’ll play a huge part in helping to cross-examine witnesses, especially with Athena’s “Mood Matrix” capabilities.
