Phantom Blade Zero Hits a Huge Milestone Ahead of Launch
That's a lot of wishlists!
Phantom Blade Zero launches in a few weeks on PC and PS5, with pre-orders now live across both platforms. S-GAME Studio announced another major milestone today, confirming that the game has surpassed 3 million wishlists across all platforms.
Phantom Blade Zero Surpasses 3 Million Wishlists
Today, S-GAME announced on X (formerly Twitter) that its upcoming action title, Phantom Blade Zero, has surpassed 3 million wishlists across all platforms, including Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the PlayStation Store.
It’s a major milestone for the title, especially with the game now just a few weeks away from launch. Following the debut of its big “Pre-Order” trailer and Donnie Yen’s reveal, Phantom Blade Zero has continued to generate plenty of interest ahead of release.
As of this writing, Phantom Blade Zero sits in 6th place on Steam in the most wishlisted games, with over 103K followers. That number has also doubled since pre-orders went live in August. I expect it to climb the sales charts in the week before its launch as well.
Phantom Blade Zero Release Date
Phantom Blade Zero is launching on PC and PS5 on October 29, 2026. You can pre-order it now for both PC and PS5.
There’s still some time until launch, and I really hope the developers consider dropping a demo on both PC and PS5. It’s one of the most requested features, especially since this is the franchise’s first full-fledged action game. Despite the extensive gameplay footage we’ve seen so far, getting a feel for the mechanics ahead of release could go a long way toward helping players decide whether they want to pick it up.
CAPCOM has done this with many of its major releases, and recent titles including Pragmata and Onimusha: Way of the Sword had demos available before launch, giving interested players a chance to try them before buying. Thankfully, though, it’s a $60 title rather than the current “AAA” standard price of $70.
While 3 million wishlists don’t automatically mean Phantom Blade Zero will sell that much, it’s still encouraging for a new entry in the franchise that isn’t a direct sequel to any existing game.
