Persona 5 Scramble has been rumored for quite some time now and has been a centrical focus for Nintendo fans hopeful for more Persona action on the Switch. Today, Atlus confirmed that Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is on the way for not only the Nintendo Switch but PlayStation 4 as well.
The company officially revealed the new title during the Persona Super Live P-Sound Street concert in Tokyo and described the upcoming adventure as the first action-RPG for the beloved franchise. The Phantom Strikers is a collaboration between Atlus, Omega Force, and Koei Techco and our first look at the upcoming adventure features everyone’s favorite Joker front and center.
In the debut trailer above, fans of Persona can see Joker easily hacking his way through waves of enemies in an all-new take on the series. The video also teases a brand new character, and many are already calling it essentially Persona 5 Musou … which, wouldn’t be wrong.
While we know that the upcoming game is slated for a PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch launch, we don’t have a release date at this time.
