Paradox Interactive was the subject of a report on Eurogamer last year, a report that (like many others) shared employee experiences of an office culture supporting harassment, poor treatment of women and more. The Crusader Kings developer took a suggestion from unions within the company and partnered with Gender Balance for an internal investigation. That investigation has been published in full.

Turns out, the investigation from Gender Balance lined up with the employee testimony. Paradox leadership stated it intends to implement every suggestion from the firm, with some already implemented at the time of publishing. Plans for the future seem to include changing training and collaborating with unions and HR on policy revisions.
Paradox pointed to failures in training and “supportive structure” to help management deal with these kinds of situations. Apparently the Swedish Discrimination Act led to too much caution with disciplinary measures, which Paradox supports by explaining why no employees have been terminated. Gender Balance advised the company that doing so for the specific situations involved would be illegal.
This is a paraphrase, but check out the report on Eurogamer for translations of statements from Paradox Interactive, provided to the outlet by the company itself.
