Overwatch’s Genji Transforms Into World of Warcraft’s Illidan And More Rewards With Virtual BlizzCon Ticket

Oh, my loins!

OK. So. Serious news piece, right. But before we get into what you’re actually here for let me just say that as a hardcore World of Warcraft fan and an unapologetic lusty fangirl over Illidan, my virtual loins are beyond excited to see one of the rewards for getting a BlizzCon virtual ticket. That’s right, Illidan is invading Overwatch! This is not a drill.

Alright, now that the fangirling is over, Blizzard just revealed what special rewards are in store for those that opt into getting a virtual BlizzCon ticket for 2019. Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, and so much more are all getting crossover goodness for those that tune into this year’s festivities from home!

Never went the Virtual Ticket route before? It has a ton of perks right from your couch. According to Blizzard, “Take your BlizzCon home experience to the next level! Get into the BlizzCon spirit with your friends and allies in-game with a cache of commemorative digital extras. Then get ready to watch in-depth live coverage of the show alongside your fellow members of the Blizzard community on November 1 and 2, including two days of the All-Access Channel, the Community Night contests on Friday, and bonus panel content that takes you further inside the games you love.”

As for what’s available this year, here’s what fans can look forward to:

World of Warcraft

  • Ride the tides of war with a pair of murloc-ified faction leaders: Finduin (for Alliance heroes) and Gillvanas (for the Horde!). Plus, bundle up for your next trip to the icy mountains with the whimsical Wendigo Woolies transmog outfit.

Overwatch

  • Mark 25 years of Azeroth as you fight for future Earth with two Legendary Overwatch skins based on iconic World of Warcraft heroes. Are you prepared for Illidan Genji and Tyrande Symmetra? Coming soon!

Hearthstone

  • Bond over some fond memories the next time you sit down for a duel with the BlizzCon 2019 card back. Then prepare to draw a mysterious Golden Legendary card, to be revealed at BlizzCon. Coming soon!

Heroes of the Storm

  • Make your mark in the Nexus with a commemorative BlizzCon spray and portrait, and ride into battle on Celestial Deepcrawler mount. It may not look dangerous, but those claws can give you a nasty pinch…or wipe out all life on your planet. Available now!

StarCraft II

  • Equip a trio of Brood War–era unit skins and portraits the next time you go into battle. Scout for a zerg ambush aboard the Classic Battlecruiser, hunt your prey with the sinewy Classic Ultralisk, and honor Tassadar’s sacrifice with the Classic Carrier. Available now!

Announcing Soon

  • More BlizzCon bonuses are in the works, including a pair of wings for Diablo III players—stay tuned for more details on this year’s legendary haul.

The festivities officially kick off on November 1st through the 3rd! You can learn more directly from the Blizzard website right here
