Outriders Delayed To April 1, Free Demo Coming February 25

Take your time.

The latest game from People Can Fly, Outriders, has been delayed to April 1, 2021. This comes after an announcement on their Twitter account. Luckily it wasn’t black text on a yellow background.

Outriders Delayed To April 1, Free Demo Coming February 25

You can read the official post below, but it isn’t all bad news!

Starting on February 25, players will be able to play a demo of Outriders that features the game’s first few hours. It can be enjoyed either solo or co-op with friends. All the progress you make in the demo will carry over to the full game once it releases on April 1. This is a nice touch because it gives players a good understanding of the game and if they actually want to pick it up in April.

After so many live service games struggle at launch, it’s refreshing to see People Can Fly take this approach and give players more hands-on time with the game.

With last year being challenging for many developers, it seems the lasting effects of COVID-19 will be felt for a long time.

Outriders was first announced back in 2019 at the Square-Enix E3 press conference. We look forward to trying out the demo and the full game when it releases on April 1, 2021.

Outriders will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
