It’s a loaded week for the Nintendo eShop, as both the 3DS and the Wii U received good games.
Let’s start with the 3DS. The rare Japanese shooter Summer Carnival ’92 RECCA, which originally debuted as a promotional title and never saw a release in the U.S., is finally available for download for a mere $4.99.
In addition, Sonic Generations, the hit platformer that came out last year, is available for $29.99. You’ll also be able to check out the puzzle classic Boulder Dash XL 3D, the sports-based Darts Up 3D and the DSiWare release Jewel Adventures.
Over on the Wii U, Capcom provided a double dose of love for fans this week. The classic SNES role-playing adventure Breath of Fire II is the latest Virtual Console release for the system, offering hours of classic gameplay for a mere $7.99. In addition, the recently released Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara is finally available for the system, available for $14.99.
That’s not all. The Wii U also has the entertaining – yet challenging – platformer Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, which sells for $14.99. It offers the opportunity to switch between two characters at any time, changing the world from day to night.
Happy downloading.
