Though we aren’t entirely sold on Nintendo Land just yet, some of the mini-games included in Nintendo’s forthcoming Wii U compilation are looking quite promising. Now, the company has added two more to the stack.
Metroid Blasters will be a part of the compilation, and while details are scarce at the moment, it’s likely that friends will be able to team up together in multiplayer fashion to take on a barrage of aliens – or perhaps even each other.
Another classic making a return is Balloon Fight, which is coming back as Balloon Trip Breeze. In this game, players swipe across the screen with their stylus to break blocks and guide the balloon-laden hero safely through passageways. No, it’s not like the classic NES game in terms of gameplay but it still looks like fun.
Look for more information on Nintendo Land later this week when Nintendo (finally) unveils its plans for Wii U at a New York press event. We’ll have a full report for you soon.
