Nintendo Indie World Showcase Set For August 11

The last Indie World Showcase was back in April and ended with the announcement of Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals. We’re curious to see what indies could show up at this showcase tomorrow.

There are plenty of excellent indie games that we could see updates on like Sports Story, Axiom Verge 2, or (fingers crossed) Hollow Knight: Silksong. Now is the perfect time for Nintendo to showcase some indies to help round out their holiday lineup for the Nintendo Switch.

Putting a bunch of great indies in between major releases like Metroid Dread and Warioware Get it Together will really flesh out the rest of 2021.

Not to mention the new Nintendo Switch OLED that is releasing this October will be a great place to play a bunch of these games.

You can watch the Nintendo Indie World Showcase with the link in the Tweet above. You won’t want to miss this one!

What indie games are you looking forward to seeing at this showcase? Be sure to let us know on the official Prima Games Twitter and Facebook pages.

You can check out the last showcase below to catch up on all of the great indies already announced.
