At first, it appears to be another rather slow week for Nintendo’s eShop update for 3DS, Wii and DSi, but the truth is, they’re probably just preparing for the storm of downloadable games that will be coming to Wii U this Sunday…which they still haven’t announced yet. Still, this week’s slate looks pretty good.
Coming on November 18th is Disney’s Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion ($39.99), which follows a Castle of Illusion-style 2D formula as you feel familiar characters and battle enemies. Also available for full download are the classic PC hit Myst ($29.99) and GameMill’s video game take on the hit film Hotel Transylvania ($29.99). Other games include the American Mensa Academy ($29.99) and the arcade-style Monster Shooter ($6.99).
If you have a DSi as well, you can take part in the interesting platform game Jump Trials ($1.99), or try your luck with the puzzle game Working Dawgs: A-Maze-Ing Pipes ($1.99).
Again, there’s no word about what launch games to expect on the Wii U, though Nintendo’s first party games, namely Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge and New Super Mario Bros. U, should be available digitally. We’ll have a full guide of what games you should get next week.
