Nintendo Direct Set For February 9, Roughly 40 Minutes Long

Nintendo Direct Set For February 9, Roughly 40 Minutes Long

The Direct will last roughly 40 minutes and will mainly focus on games releasing in the first half of 2022. It’s become somewhat of an annual tradition at this point for a Nintendo Direct to happen sometime in February so it’s not entirely surprising that one finally popped up.

There are quite a few games Nintendo still needs to put a date on that are supposed to be 2022 titles. We could easily see Splatoon 3 or Bayonetta 3 get a firmer release date, as well as smaller titles like Ben Esposito’s Neon White.

To keep expectations in check, in February of last year Nintendo showed off games like Mario Golf: Super Rush, Miitopia, Skyword Sword HD, and Triangle Strategy. 40 minutes is a lot of time for some good surprises, updates on games like Kirby, and some release dates for already announced games.
